Newedge Group is a société anonyme governed by French law. Newedge Group is the owner (direct or indirect) of all Newedge entities organized in various jurisdictions around the world.

Newedge Group is not a new legal entity but is the result of the absorption of Calyon Financial SNC and Fimat SNC into Fimat International Banque SA. Newedge Group is lead regulated in France as a bank by CECEI (Banque de France) and regulated by the Commission Bancaire and the Autorité des Marchés Financiers for the conduct of investment services, and regulated by the Financial Services Authority for the conduct of business in the UK.
